Once there were Giants
Reports that there once were giants on Earth are explored.
Rumors, legends, myths, folklore, etc…
…whatever you want to call it, stories of giants is nothing new. Many claim that some of these “tall tales” may actually be true. That’s right, there’s even evidence to prove it…well there was — I think.
There was supposedly a fake story written by World News Daily Report claiming that the Smithsonian Institute admitted to destroying thousands of giant skeletons in the early 1900’s. However, an article did turn up proving that a “cover-up” may be in play. It states:
Was the New York Times “Fake News” even back then?
Vine Deloria, a Native American author, and professor of law said:
“Modern day archaeology and anthropology have nearly sealed the door on our imaginations, broadly interpreting the North American past as devoid of anything unusual in the way of great cultures characterized by a people of unusual demeanor.
“The great interloper of ancient burial grounds, the nineteenth century Smithsonian Institution, created a one-way portal, through which uncounted bones have been spirited.
“This door and the contents of its vault are virtually sealed off to anyone, but government officials. Among these bones may lay answers not even sought by these officials concerning the deep past.”
So, were there giants or not?
According to the Smithsonian, the skeletons that were recovered in China were anywhere in height between 5’9″ and 6’2″ which are rather tall for humans back then.
There’s a village in China’s Shandong province where archaeologists started excavating a a very old Neolithic settlement in Jiaojia.
Just for comparison, in Europe the average height of Neolithic populations is about 5′4″ to 5’6″. Most people were saddened when this information came out which in turn sparked some negativity about the government run Smithsonian Institute. Smithsonian has been under scrutiny for quite some time for claims of deliberately hiding important discoveries that could alter views from the public when it comes to history, life and the very existence of man on Earth.
Still don’t believe in giants?
That’s fine, a lot of people feel that way. Most of them are non-Christian while the remaining are Christians, however, just believe that Goliath was “probably” just a real tall person. Goliath was human, there’s no doubt to that, it’s just that he was anywhere from 9′–10′ tall.
But before they used to call the land of Gilead the land of the Rephaim; for it was the land of the Rephaim, and the Rephaim were born (there), giants whose height was ten, nine, eight down to seven cubits. [10½ feet to 15 feet tall]
A Greek geographer, Pausanias (ca. A.D. 150) wrote of Roman soldiers diverting the river Orontes in Syria finding a coffin more than 16 feet long with a corpse the size of it inside. The Orontes flows through Mount Hermon in the land of Bashan, where the Rephaim king Og ruled.
Truth is, the discovery of giant skeletons was becoming quite a thing. Then all of a sudden — it just stopped. Just like that. There are claims to be true stories of the Smithsonian Institution involved in a cover-up, also misplacing (losing) the giant skeletons (among other things). However, fake news stories about the Smithsonian destroying thousands of giant skeletons, but that was proven to be a hoax. If this fake news story did anything, it sparked the attention of enthusiasts (conspiracy theorists) to explore the claims where the Smithsonian Institution did admit to losing a few of these valuable and unique specimens.
